Robert Shearman gets two award nominations in one week!

Robert’s second collection of short stories, Love Songs for the Shy and Cynical, has been nominated for a Shirley Jackson award. The awards, which celebrate outstanding achievement in the literature of psychological suspense, horror and the dark fantastic, have shortlisted Robert in the Single Author Collection category. AND Paper Scissors Stone, the third series of BBC7’s drama Chain Gang has been nominated for a Sony Radio award. The series, where Robert dramatises storylines suggested by the audience, won a bronze award last year, so fingers crossed for this year, Rob.
