New Writers

We are thrilled to announce that we have signed two great new writers, Tom Dowouna-Hyde and Alastair Q Mills.Al and Tom started to write together in 2008 after their lives collided at a Camden ad agency. Tom was writing his first screenplay at the time and Al was writing a sitcom, after having already written three shorts, one of which was selected for a screening at Raindance 2006. They finished these, put them to one side and started working on short films and feature screenplays together.Since then they have written and directed a number of shorts including ‘Temps’ which was selected for the London Film Festival, and winner of Shooting People's film of the month selected by Rankin. ‘Temps’ caught the attention of Ivana MacKinnon, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ producer and Film 4 talent scout who is now aiding them in getting the right production team for their upcoming comedy features – ‘Longpig’ and ‘Hidden Talent’. They are also developing two sitcoms ‘Saturdays’ and ‘Premium Space’, and are set to be two very busy men in the future!
