Daniel is also a stand up comedian, and took his solo show 'Carpet' to Edinburgh in 2018 with Berks Nest. He received a plethora of 4 and 5 star reviews for 'Carpet' and played to sell-out audiences.

Daniel has worked across a number of television projects, his credits including BBC drama Poldark, as well as Man vs Bee (Netflix), Babylon, and Toast (both Channel 4).

"A blistering logic bending show... a genuine treat"
The List
"The borderline visceral tension that Cook can burn into an audience is artfully delivered and leaves you with an odd feeling of catharsis you’ll unlikely receive from many other shows in the fringe."
Short.Com
"This is excellent stand up: Cook is able to deliver laugh after laugh with just his presence and maddening stare"
